If
you’ve been wondering how to relax during the upcoming holidays, here’s an
excellent idea for you. Whether you’re on your own, or want to travel with your
spouse and children, the choices for you are unlimited. After all, India is a
vast country with innumerable holiday destinations, big and small.
One
such holiday that will leave you gaping is the Golden Triangle Tour. It is a Delhi Agra Jaipur 4 Days Tour that will include the best and most
diverse of each of these spots. It will combine history, fun, sightseeing,
culture, religion, architecture, local cuisine and shopping. How much more
value for your money can you hope to get from one four-day holiday?
Where to go: A trip to Delhi, Agra
and Jaipur could be a welcome break for you and your family because of what
each city offers and because the duration of the trip isn’t too long. Get out
of your home, breathe a different air for a while and go back refreshed to work
and school or college. Besides, everyone hankers to visit at least Delhi
because it is the national capital and is so historically rich.
Add to
that the fact that the famous Taj Mahal is barely three to four hours away
could be another superb attraction. So, let’s see what one such tour could be
all about.
Your 4 Days Golden TriangleTour: When in Delhi,
check in to your hotel and take in a few sights before your tour begins. Next
morning, your tour begins with a day of sightseeing all over Delhi. This will
give you an idea of Delhi’s place in history, particularly when you see the
historical sites like Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Lotus Temple, Chandni Chowk, Qutub
Minar, etc. Enjoy an overnight stay in Delhi and the next day, after breakfast,
be ready to take a drive down to Agra, about three to four hours from Delhi.
The
first sight you will be shown here is the world famous Taj Mahal. Spend as much
time as you want here before you are taken to see the other historical sights
here such as the Agra Fort, among others. Stay overnight here and next morning,
after breakfast, drive down to Fatehpur Sikhri. Here, you will be taken to see
Panch Mahal, Jodhabai Palace, Lotus Throne, Buland Darwaza, Diwan-i-Khas, Tomb
of Sheikh Salim Chisti and other historic sights. Next morning, after
breakfast, depart for the royal city, Jaipur.
Jaipur,
the Pink City, dazzles with all that it has to offer by way of history and
alluring architecture. A visit to Hawa Mahal and Jantar Mantar are absolute
musts, as so are many others. Apart from these, check out the local cuisine and
the bazaars loaded with lovely arts and crafts to buy, apart from the
jewellery. Spend the night here and return to Delhi next morning from where you
can make your onward journey home.
